October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and did you know that one in every eight women will experience the disease at some point in her life? Early detection is important and organizations like the
National Breast Cancer Foundation are working hard to help women get early diagnosis and treatment.
Wear pink in a big way and support breast cancer awareness.
All profits from the sale of this necklace will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Very pretty, Lisa, and what a nice thing to do!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work Lisa! I love that you are donating all the profits of the necklace to breast cancer awareness. I'm actually having my first baseline mammogram done in a couple of weeks. I'm not looking forward to it but know it is so important!
ReplyDeletei like the way you made the smiley face in the top shot. :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful way to get the word out for a great cause!
ReplyDeleteOne in eight - that's a high percentage. A worthy cause.
ReplyDeletethis is all so lovely, jewelry, the smile, the heart and your generosity...:-)
ReplyDeleteI do like your creation....however, I must make a point:::do research on cancer treatments; do not think that chemo/radiation is the only treatment-(these treatments are carcinogenic).
