Precious Water
Fountain Hills Arizona |
This fountain, surrounded by a man-made lake, is capable of shooting water over 500 feet into the air. At the time it was built, 1970, it was the tallest fountain in the world. Amazing:

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely amazing photo! The water spray is such that it looks like two different photos. Awesome. {Thanks for visiting me at 'Camper' on Tuesday Muse.}
ReplyDeleteI remember it well. My first home in Arizona was in Arizona CIty, AZ and they too had a manmade lake with a fountain which my parent's house was on, so we had a front and center seat to watching it. They stopped using it during the 80's due to costing too much for them to pay for, but it was awesome back in the day. Thanks for sharing this wonderful photo! Just found this video online... looks as though it is once again being used! YAY....
