  7. What a lovely walk it must have been. Our neighbor's yard is filled with poppies. I always associate poppies with our ride through the desert to the mountains in the spring. Lovely!

    On your 'unknown'plant...would it be a desert hackberry by chance? I'm really not certain if it is; just the closest plant I could find on Google.
