Inspiration From Other Parts of the World...

A 1940's Era Bracelet from Japan


A gold and semiprecious stone bracelet brought from Japan to the United States following the end of WWII. I do not have an exact date of when the piece was made and have to wonder if it was constructed before the war. Also included in the photo is the bracelet's original silk box, so rich in contrasting color and detailed stitching of the pagoda.
